OUR PHILOSOPHY

Since our inception in Oct ‘08, TransStadia has evolved its business model to ensure growth in the business of sports infrastructure, content and technology. Sport is the sunrise industry of India and while we are growing by leaps and bounds, we are still a small family. While we are building a strong business model, the canvas of sport is blank and we have the opportunity to paint it in the style we like and with the colors we adore.

A typical day at TransStadia begins with TSsters getting into office, getting comfortable and exchanging a few quick notes with the team members. While we all have our goals clearly defined, we work independently but towards a common goal.

At lunchtime, almost everyone eats in the office lunchroom where TSsters from our various teams converge.

Every TSster believes in our value system. We drive our individuality through our personal ambitions, where through collaboration and teamwork, we balance our competencies towards building a world-class organization determined to create value for an aspiring nation in the field of sportainment. Each of us works with respect, dedication and perseverance to fulfill the vision of the company with a clear proactiveness that is channeled with customer-focus. We believe in excellence, innovation and integrity. Our leadership ensures that each and every TSster is empowered to take decisions, without compromising on the quality of our products, or services with a continuous improvement program that ensure flexibility and discipline. While we focus on our business goals, we channel our creativity, on a idea sharing platform that allows us to be more accountable while undertaking diversified challenges in our day to day work.

Every TSster is a hands-on contributor, and we continuously encourage everyone to wear several hats. Because we believe that each TSster is an equally important part of our success, no one hesitates to pose questions directly to Udit in our meetings – or play ball in the office.

Our meetings can be in office, at coffee shops, in the car or from multiple locations. When not at work, TSster pursues interests from cross-country motorcycling to painting, to reading.

We are extremely open in our hiring, and we favor ability over experience. We have 3 offices in India and each TSster brings a unique proposition to this organization’s evolution.

As we continue to grow, we are focused on our business goals and our leadership is continuously creating an environment of honesty, independence, responsibility, dependability and most of all JOY.

Organization philosophy is a belief & value system that emanates from internal stakeholders and will be the foundation of our growth. Most importantly, we follow these principles at the highest levels and expect each TSster to imbibe them. The sole intention is towards building a great organization that will last with excellence over generations. Our team has put together 10 key points that make us: -

  1. Integrity – To me this is the first and the most essential. Self-explanatory. As a conscious corporate our values revolve around the highest levels of ethics. Our culture is built by being an honest organization. All our business, internal or external is expected to be honest and open, but at the same time pro-active.
  2. Excellence – As an organization we must strive for excellence in everything we do. Perfection is God’s business but excellence we can achieve.
  3. Belief - To believe in the vision and mission of the organization which is striving to set a new benchmark in the world of Indian sport. Belief is the greatest motivator, even more than money.
  4. Accountability, Ownership, Commitment – Any work undertaken by us must have our commitment and ownership thus making us accountable.
  5. Leadership – Our team-members are all leaders. For us leadership is all about making each other believe in the goals, setting timelines and achieving them as a team. We also believe in having a leadership team, whose doors are open and are approachable.
  6. Teamwork – We are TransStadia believe that we need to work independently, but towards the common goal. And this independent working with clear objectives and transparent communication lines is what we call teamwork.
  7. Learning, Challenging and Pro-activeness – By challenge, I mean the logic, assumptions, rationale. A company’s collective human capital grows only when it promotes and encourages discussions & debates. While doing so there should be a well-articulated and pro-active approach where while questions are asked, answers are also recommended.
  8. Joy – At TransStadia we want to encourage an atmosphere of fun where people can drop their guard, have a hearty laugh, yet are responsible enough to complete the task that they have undertaken. Joy must also come out from the passion to achieve targets. At TransStadia, we encourage our leadership to build in elements of Joy that make work fun. After all, we spend most of our day at work.
  9. Building a Talented Team – At TransStadia we want our team to have professionals who are truly talented, and are the backbone of our organization. Having said that, we want to recruit great talent, and by this we mean people who are highly motivated.
